Jerry Duerksen

Jerry Duerksen

Jerry was the founder of Duerksen & Associates, Inc. and left an amazing legacy of knowledge, kindness, generosity, and the positive power of giving.  He retired from the day to day operation of the business but continued to come into the office daily to work with community livability and fundraising to help improve the graduation rates from K-12 students. The fruits of his efforts introduced vocational jobs and instruction at a younger age to provide more opportunities for our youth and future leaders.  He was a true hero and an innovator for the community.

Steve & Dawn Duerksen

Steve Duerksen

A lifelong resident of the Corvallis-area, Steve grew up alongside Duerksen & Associates, mowing lawns for his family’s business as a kid. Now operated by him and his wife, Dawn, Steve’s primary role is working with the owners and investors who entrust us with their rental properties. Steve is devoted to ensuring good decisions are made for client portfolios and committed to handling all the details of selling or occupying their properties. His attention to current housing regulations and property laws as well as tracking rental rates weekly is invaluable knowledge needed to ensure the best return on our client’s investments. When he’s not working, car enthusiast Steve can be found meandering around auto parts stores. He also enjoys hot rods, 4-wheeling, white water rafting, or target shooting in Oregon’s great outdoors.

Dawn Duerksen

Dawn is the other half of the dynamic duo that owns and operates Duerksen & Associates alongside her husband, Steve. Her role includes managing the office and its staff, and communicating with tenants and vendors to ensure maintenance and repair needs are met. She is also diligent in making sure all rent is paid on time, and that properties are properly advertised to keep high occupancy rates for the owner’s we serve. Dawn is committed to supporting nonprofits and youth organizations in our community. She is actively involved with the Boys & Girls Club and Rotary Club, fundraising for both every year. She also organizes and teaches monthly classes for the Rental Property Management Group. Outside of work she enjoys reading, crafting, and white water rafting.

Kate Woods

Kate Woods

Kate is the Front Desk Manager, helping tenants have a successful experience from application to final move out. She has a background in marketing and business development. Kate enjoys spending time with her partner and their pets, attending concerts, camping, and otherwise adventuring. Native to Oregon, Kate studied Organic Farming and is passionate about fighting food insecurity through the Oregon Food Bank and is active with United Women.

Althea Pansit

Althea is our Assistant Maintenance Coordinator. She assists in overseeing maintenance technicians and vendors to complete maintenance needs. She has extensive customer service experience and has worked previously as a property manager, with experience in the field of leasing and maintenance. Married to an architect, Althea loves to collaborate and discuss with her husband about interior designs. She loves coffee and pastries and dreams of opening her own coffee shop in the future.

Anne Braga

Anne is our Leasing and Advertising Assistant. She worked as a Reservation Sales Specialist before being part of the Duerksen & Associates team. During her free time she enjoys going to the park with her toddler and partner, hiking, surfing, exploring, and reading books.

Anne Dela Fuente 

Anne is the Bookkeeper and Maintenance Assistant at Duerksen & Associates, assisting our bookkeeper and maintenance team with their daily admin tasks. She is a pharmacy graduate and is keen on details. In her free time she spends time with her daughter, studying, doing outdoor activities, and helping out in her community.

Iris Solon

Iris is a Leasing Assistant at Duerksen & Associates. She takes care of roommates and enrollment. Outside work, she loves spending time tending to her plants and building memories with her teenager and toddler.

Justin Murray

Justin Murray is our Drive Around Inspector, making sure properties are in good shape and tenants are maintaining their yard/unit. Since a very young age, Justin has been fascinated with engineering and took up building LEGOs as a hobby, which he still does today. He also really likes to bake delicious desserts like cookies, brownies, doughnuts, and even make ice cream.

Michaela Thody

Michaela is our Receptionist. She has multiple years of experience in customer service and loves assisting people with all of their needs. Michaela is new to the property management field, but has prior experience as a leasing agent. In her previous role, she very much enjoyed helping people find their future homes. Michaela spends most of her free time going to rodeos and shopping, and loves getting dressed up for an occasion.

Herb Westcott

Herb has worked in property management for over a decade. He is dedicated

to keeping our rentals in tip-top shape, responding to tenant and owner

maintenance requests.
